Warner Bros. Canada’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Launch (2016)
Role: Venue management, creative production support, client management, key stakeholder management, logistics and operations, event supplier (catering and decor) and vendor management
In celebration of the 2016 Canadian launch for the latest iteration of the Harry Potter franchise, Warner Bros. Canada commissioned an immersive, site-specific structure to showcase the artistry and magic behind the new film series. Working with Juno award producers and award-winning lighting designers for custom design, a 70-foot by 40-foot suitcase structure was built.
Inside, the experiential marketing project featured videos games, costumes on display from the film, stills and behind-the-scenes footage from the project, and a themed selfie-station. The 3-day long experience included a VIP event for 50 select, high-profile guests, including a photo opportunity with the leading actors and directors from the film as well as a themed cocktail reception.
