Anoush Moazzeni: Dissolving into the Pluriverse

Role: Curation, artistic design & planning, programme management, development

Anoush Moazzeni was commissioned to create a digital exhibition that responded to an in-gallery installation by Faig Ahmed, who’s exhibition Dissolving Order was at the Aga Khan Museum from Fall 2020 to Summer 2021. Moazzeni responded to the central piece in Ahmed’s exhibition, Gautama by researching and creating a sonic landscape derived from and informed by traditional Persian textile production. Her project included the construction of a roboticized traditional loom, the creation of a textile-based graphic score, and the recording of found sounds from various traditional and contemporary wool harvesting tools and communities.
