REMASTERED
Role: Research (music, organology, performance practice), copyrights management, audio sample editing, copywriting for all instrumental descriptions
REMASTERED was the Spring and Summer 2020 special exhibition at the Aga Khan Museum. Featuring manuscripts and book bindings drawn exclusively from the museum’s collection, the project used interactive technology (AR, 3D graphics, multimedia, animation, lightboxes) to bring to life the objects featured in the exhibition.
For the exhibition, Charity was responsible for identifying and researching the instruments featured in select manuscripts, sourcing audio samples from performances and partners, creating audio files, and copywriting all instrumental didactics, working collaboratively with the exhibitions team as well as the exhibition curator, Dr. Michael Chagnon.
The online exhibition, including all interactive elements, can be found here.
