Pocket Performance Series

Role: Curation, creative production, creative direction, logistics, budget management, fundraising

Originally conceived as a virtual version of the Pop-Ups performance series at the Aga Khan Museum, the program developed into the signature series for the performing arts department during COVID-19.

The program featured performers from a range of backgrounds, highlighted classical and folk musics from around the world, and often featured original compositions by the performing artists. Providing newcomer and emerging artists a platform with a global reach, the program offered artists much needed creative opportunities to artists during a trying time.
